Bermuda Dunes Country Club
Bermuda Dunes Country Club embraces its visitors with an old world setting. The golf course here, offering 27 holes, has been a part of the Bob Hope Classic since its beginning in 1960. Billy Bell designed the course with exciting cliff views and a prestigious clubhouse. Celebrities like Arnold Palmer and Clark Gable have been residents of the community and the club is nationally respected by many golfing organizations as well as professional golfers.
The private club offers fine dining with its celebrations during festive times such as New Year’s Eve, Thanksgiving, and Valentine’s Day. It also tempts members with a delectable seafood buffet, Mardi Gras Dinner, and Taste of Italy event. Breakfast and lunch is offered seven days a week at the Indoor/Outdoor Bar & Grill. Enjoy a meal while gazing out on the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains. Gorgeous single family homes are available to buy or rent; and affordable vacation homes are popular in this area.
The country club is located in the heart of Bermuda Dunes, Riverside County, California and is located twenty three miles east of Palm Springs. A census-designated place (CDP), the community’s name is originally based on the country club and was at first known as Myoma. It’s a classic area for golfers with ten other golfing communities nearby, such as Sun City Palm Desert.
Bermuda Dunes Country Club is situated in a geographic area known for its hot, dry climate. Residents of this community enjoy 354 days of sunshine and usually only experience 3.44 inches or rain each year. The annual high temperature on average is 89.4 F and the low is 62.1 F with summer heat going about 100 degrees.
Area education services include several schools in the Desert Sands Unified School District. There is also Christian Schools of the Desert, a private establishment serving preschool through grade 12.
